Classes, Camps and Individual Lessons
From the young player with little to no league or travel ball experience, to the seasoned high school player, NorCal Grizzlies Baseball has programs to help accelerate the baseball development for players of all ages. Built upon the past and current success of his NorCal Grizzlies competitive travel teams, Tom Graham and his staff have developed a set of classes, camps and clinics specifically designed to help individual players enhance their current level of play and take advantage of their true potential. Specific position training sessions are conducted by coaches who have played professionally and/or collegiately at the respective position. Additional information for each program is listed below.
2010 SUMMER CAMP FOR 8 TO 13 YEAR OLDS

NorCal Grizzlies Baseball and its staff of coaches will be conducting a 2010 summer instructional baseball camp for 8 through 13 year olds at our indoor training facility in Livermore. We are currently taking sign ups for the session that will run from Monday, August 9th through Wednesday, August 11th from 9AM until 12 Noon.
Campers will receive instruction covering both the physical and mental aspects of the game, including hitting, pitching, catching and fielding, as well as the proper mental approach, the importance of discipline, what makes a good teammate, etc. Campers will leave with a firm understanding of what it takes to compete at the next level of play (competitive travel team, Little League, Babe Ruth, etc.).
Additional details are as follows:
- Limited to 30 campers per session
- Low player to coach ratio - 4:1
- High paced, high repetition practice environment
- Facility includes (6) batting tunnels, (3) bullpen stations and infield/warmup area
- Each camper receives camp t-shirt
- Parents welcome to attend and watch from upstairs parent lounge
- Weather not a concern (indoors)
- Secure online sign up available
Campers of all abilities are welcome to attend. Camp is limited to the first 30 players signed up and paid.

PITCHING AND HITTING CLASSES

PITCHING CLASSES
Our pitching course is designed for those players looking to learn and improve upon the basic fundamentals of pitching. Topics covered include proper balance, front side mechanics, foot placement, wind-up and stretch positions, overall mound presence, proper angles, thrust and finishing of each pitch as well as a brief introduction to the change up. Each session will include drills and discussions proven to enhance both the physical and mental aspects of each student’s game. Each student will be provided ongoing video analysis of their motion using licensed RVP software.

HITTING CLASSES
Our hitting course is designed for those players looking to learn the basic fundamentals of hitting. Topics covered include proper stance, grip, front foot and back leg pivot, and achieving consistent contact at the plate, as well as a brief introduction to hitting off speed pitches. Each session will include drills and discussions proven to enhance both the physical and mental aspects of each student’s game. Each student will be provided ongoing video analysis of their swing using licensed RVP software.
