Nate Young
Manager 14U Nate looks forward to working the 14U Grizzlies team in the winter/spring of 2010 after recently completing this past fall season as assistant coach of the 15U squad. Coach Young comes to the Grizzlies on the heels of a stellar high school and Division I college career. Nate was born and raised in Pleasanton and acquired his exceptional playing skills as a young shortstop rising through the ranks of Pleasanton National Little League as well as Babe Ruth. During his high school days spent at Amador Valley, Nate was the starting varsity shortstop from the time he was a freshman. Nate's abilities were enough for the University of Hawaii to offer him a scholarship to play shortstop for the Rainbows. Nate is currently working towards finishing his degree in Marketing.
