Nate Young
Head Coach, 2012 Spring 14U Nate has been with the Grizzlies organization since 2009 having coached teams ranging in age from 12U through 18U. Nate came to the Grizzlies on the heels of a stellar high school and Division I college career. Nate was born and raised in Pleasanton and acquired his exceptional playing skills as a young shortstop rising through the ranks of Pleasanton National Little League as well as Babe Ruth. During his high school days spent at Amador Valley, Nate was the starting varsity shortstop from the time he was a freshman. Nate's abilities were enough for the University of Hawaii to offer him a scholarship to play shortstop for the Rainbows.
