Twitter Feeds
Beginning with the 2012 spring season we will be using Twitter to provide updates to our players, families and followers for items related to updates in practice and game times and locations, tournament and travel info, and general team and organization announcements. This will hopefully prove much easier and reliable than managing a typical and often changing email distribution list. There will be both team specific Twitter accounts as well as a main NorCal Grizzlies account. It is recommended both the main account and your son's team account are 'Followed'.
In case you don't already have a Twitter account, it is recommended each player's family have one or multiple accounts in order to receive any and all necessary and/or urgent updates. Twitter accounts are free and can be set up in less than a minute. All you need is a valid email address to sign up. You then choose to 'Follow' the team your son is on. This can all be done very easily by simply clicking on the appropriate team from the list of Easy Follow Buttons below.
Messages from those you follow can be received via text, the web and/or third party apps via your smartphone. It is recommended you activate mobile notification (text) alerts for the team you are following. There is also an abundance of additional applications available to help with your Twitter needs. Several links are provided below to help you set up your own account and obtain further information about the uses of Twitter.

First, follow NorCal Grizzlies Baseball on Twitter...

Sign in to your existing Twitter account, or create a new account.

Then, follow a specific NorCal Grizzlies team...
|

Click the Twitter Easy Follow Button (a bit lower on this page) for the team you want to follow.

If necessary, sign in to your existing Twitter account, or create a new account.

Lastly, set up both accounts for mobile alerts...

While logged in to your Twitter account, go to your 'Profile' page, and under 'About You', click on 'Following'.

On the left hand side, click on the profile you would like to set up for mobile alerts.
|

Click on the mobile phone icon to activate mobile alerts.
The icon will turn from clear 
to green  indicating active.Repeat steps b. and c. for each account you would like to activate for mobile alerts.
